Our ruthenium bath deposits dark to grey-black, gloss-preserving coatings with high color consistency. It impresses with its discreet but extremely decorative appearance and is often used as an alternative to black rhodium.

Black Ruthenium Bath JE12-1 - 5 g/L Ru

The black ruthenium bath JE12-1 deposits dark up to grey-black ruthenium coatings. The ruthenium electrolyte preserves the brightness and it can be obtained a high colour consistency. The layers have a good grip and impress through their decorative colour. Coatings up to max 0,2-0,5 µm can be deposited. Ruthenium baths with high constancy

Ruthenium is a precious metal electrolyte that deposits rather subtle dark to gray-black layers. It is also gloss-preserving and has a particularly decorative color with a high constancy.

It can be compared to black rhodium, but it is up to the observer to decide which gives a more attractive coating. Our black ruthenium bath deposits non-slip coatings with an impressive decorative color. The dark to grey-black layers retain their shine and impress with their high color consistency. If base metals or silverware are to be coated, a pre-gold plating or palladium layer is recommended as an undercoat.
