Precious metal coating using platinum baths

Platinum baths are acidic electrolytes that deposit hard layers. The surfaces are bright and highly lustrous. In terms of colour, the surface coatings are somewhere between silver and rhodium, although the visual effect of these precious metals is perceived individually and can occasionally lead to discussions. Nevertheless, there is a consensus that our platinum bath leaves an extremely attractive impression.

As these precious metals are visually very similar, it is ultimately up to you as the user to decide which product you choose. Our JE18 platinum bath impresses with its bright, high-gloss and hard platinum layers. It is suitable for both technical and particularly decorative surface coatings. The use of this electrolyte produces not only resistant but also particularly aesthetic coatings.

The deposited layers also offer high resistance to corrosion and abrasion. The question of whether silver or rhodium is more radiant may be debatable, but the visual brilliance achieved by our platinum bath is undeniably impressive.
